Northumberland Wheeled Action Sports Survey

Closes 2 Mar 2025

Opened 27 Jan 2025

Overview

Northumberland County Council has developed a brief questionnaire to gather feedback from residents about wheeled action sports. For the purpose of this survey, 'wheeled action sports' refers to activities such as skateboarding, BMX racing and freestyle, roller skating, rollerblading, and scooter riding.

The survey includes a series of multiple-choice questions about your experiences with wheeled action sports, your thoughts on the current infrastructure, and any suggestions for improvement.

We encourage as many residents of Northumberland as possible to complete the survey by 02/03/2025.

Why your views matter

Northumberland County Council are aiming to support the development of wheeled action sports across the county. As a starting point, we are gathering your feedback on the current state of wheeled action sports infrastructure, such as skateparks and BMX tracks, areas for improvement, and any gaps in facilities and programming. This includes your input on participation patterns, facility usage, perceptions of safety and inclusivity, barriers to participation, and future needs for the community.

We recognise the increasing popularity of these sports and want to be able to support their sustained growth. Your responses will help us to support the development of wheeled action sports across the county and the wider region.
