Overview

Parent carer survey: planning together the future support for families of children with special educational needs or disability (SEND) 2024-2027

Dear Parent / Carer

We want to know what life is like in Northumberland if you have a child with a special educational need or disability (SEND).

We want to improve support for children and young people with SEND and their families over the next three years. We would like to learn what is working well and what needs to change. Giving your views in this survey will help us plan to make improvements.
This survey has been developed with Northumberland Parent Carer Forum and a group of parents and carers who are working with Northumberland County Council and NHS commissioners.

Following the survey, we will write a report telling you what we have found out and what we will do in response to the feedback.

You can fill the survey in online, or if you require a paper copy please contact sarah.elliott@northumberland.gov.uk and share your address and a copy will be posted to you.
