A193 Seafront Active Travel Scheme
Overview
We have been informed of some display issues when viewing the plans within the survey. We are working on fixing these, but most issues can be solved by zooming in on the images or by right clicking and opening on a new tab.
The A193 Seafront Active Travel scheme will see improvements to existing infrastructure and new infrastructure established between Kingsway to Old Hartley. The scheme will connect with current improvement works on Bondicar Terrace to the north (and onwards to Blyth Town Centre) and connect to improvement works in North Tyneside (Sustainable Seafront Scheme) to the south. These works are of regional significance as they will advance active travel improvement works further north as an extension from the network improvements made to date in Sunderland, South Tyneside and North Tyneside.
