Northumberland National Park Active Travel Plan
Overview
Help shape the future of walking, wheeling and cycling in Northumberland National Park
Northumberland National Park Authority is working to create a plan for an Active Travel Network across the National Park — making it easier for people to walk, wheel and cycle both to and around the Park. This work is supported by funding from Active Travel England, who in 2024 offered £1 million across all National Parks to support the development of Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plans (LCWIPs).
