Overview

Northumberland County Council is set to deliver a £2.4m programme of improvements to boost the town centre and enhance the 
conservation area, focusing interventions on the target corridor of Priestpopple, Battle Hill and Cattle Market. 

This is part of the Hexham High Streets Heritage Action Zone scheme, funded by Historic England and Northumberland County Council.

Details and images of the proposed improvements will be available to view in the foyer of the Queens Hall from Saturday 7th May to Sunday 15th May 2022.  

Representatives of the Northumberland County Council’s Hexham High Streets Heritage Action Zone team will be available to discuss the plans in person in the foyer of Queens Hall between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday 7th May 2022.
